- Hello all, and thank you for visiting "A Beer New World". I live and write out of Birmingham, Alabama, a place that just recently started to sell interesting craft beer. This is all thanks to the "Free the Hops" lobbying organization, or as I like to call it, the "MicroBrewers Republican Army", who fought the good fight to change the legal beer sales in Alabama to include those beyond 6% ABV. So now it is my mission to reach deep and explore what these beers have to offer us and how we, as a once deprived state, now relate to the beer world around us that we are so eager to catch up to. In real life I'm a lawyer. I practice danger law mostly, like Atticus Finch, or Keanu Reeves in "Devil's Advocate". I'm an avid soccer player belonging to Birmingham City Football Club (right wing for those who are asking). I have the best friends, the best family, and the best girlfriend. And my fridge never lacks good beer. Cheers.
